„Palangos gintare“ kuriamas sensorinis sodas
„Palangos gintare“ nuolat ieškome būdų, kaip reabilitaciją padaryti prasmingesnę – ypač vaikams, turintiems sensorinių ar raidos sutrikimų. Vienas iš mūsų artimiausių planų – sensorinis sodas: ramybės ir atradimų erdvė, kur terapija susijungia su gamta, žaidimu ir pojūčiais. Kartu su reabilitacijos specialistais ir architektais jau parengėme sodo viziją ir projektą – jis bus pritaikytas vaikų emocijų, bendravimo, dėmesio ir socialinių įgūdžių lavinimui per jutiminę patirtį. Toks sodas papildys mūsų taikomas terapijas ir suteiks mažiesiems daugiau džiaugsmo bei saugumo gydymo kelyje.
Būdami didžiausia vaikų sanatorija Baltijos šalyse, kasmet priimanti apie 6 000 pacientų iš visos Lietuvos, aiškiai matome augantį poreikį tokioms erdvėms. Vieta sodui jau parinkta, projektui esame pasiruošę – dabar ieškome finansavimo sensorinei įrangai ir sodo įrengimui. Tai rūpesčiu ir patirtimi grįstas projektas, kuris netrukus galėtų tapti svarbia vaikų sveikimo dalimi.
A Sensory Garden is Coming to „Palangos gintaras“
At „Palangos gintaras“, we’re always looking for ways to make rehabilitation more meaningful, especially for children with sensory and developmental challenges. One of our next big steps is the creation of a sensory garden — a calm, engaging space where therapy blends with nature, play, and discovery. Together with rehabilitation specialists and architects, we’ve already prepared the project and the vision: a garden tailored to support children’s emotions, communication, attention, and social skills through sensory exploration. This space will not only complement our existing therapies but also bring more joy and ease into the healing process.
As the largest children’s sanatorium in the Baltic States, welcoming around 6,000 young patients each year, we see a growing need for this kind of environment. The location is set, and we’re ready to begin — but to bring the garden to life, we’re now looking for funding for materials, special equipment, and landscaping. It’s a project built from care and experience, and we hope it will soon become a healing space for many children to enjoy and grow in.
